Authorities make arrest in December stabbing death
By Brian R. Ballou, Globe Staff
Ten months after Dakermu Vincent Kollie was stabbed to death at a party in Dorchester, a suspect who has been sought for months was caught early this morning and is expected to be arraigned today in Dorchester District Court.
Roberto Mulero, 22, of Dorchester, allegedly stabbed Kollie, 23, on Dec. 18, according to authorities. Police also arrested Jamal Wilson, 20, two weeks ago and charged him with being accessory after the fact to a murder. He is being held on a $10,000 cash bail.
Kollie and his family arrived in Boston from war-torn Liberia nine years ago and they initially lived in Jamaica Plain, but his mother moved the family to Salem to get closer to her work and seek a safer environment for her children.
