Police arrest two in alleged sexual assault of 11-year-old

SALEM -- Two men were arraigned today on charges that they raped a 11-year-old girl in an alleyway, authorities said.

Police said a friend of the girl called at 10:42 p.m. Monday night to report the assault in an alleyway off Dow Street. When officers arrived, they saw two men running away and caught them on nearby Congress Street.

Jesus Pimental, 17, of New York City, and Caled Marquez Donatiu, 23, of Salem face charges of forcible rape child, indecent assault and battery of a person under 14, and disorderly conduct.
