Two suspects are scheduled to be arraigned today in Roxbury District Court after a foot chase with Boston police ended with an officer firing several shots and a man with a bullet wound in his arm.

Police were still piecing together the details this morning in what began as a motor vehicle stop near Holworthy and Walnut streets at about 10:11 p.m.

Initially, the car refused to stop, and officers pursued the vehicle onto Heath Street, where one of the occupants got out and ran, according to a police report.

An officer gave chase. The suspect pointed a gun at the officer, according to the report, and the officer pulled his service weapon and fired "several rounds." The suspect ran into a home on Parker Street and eluded capture.

Sometime later, police arrested a man who they did not identify who checked himself into Brigham and Woman's Hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound in his arm. It was unclear if he was shot by police.

Police also arrested two other occupants of the car who were identified as Lamory Gray, 20, of Dorchester and Luis Garcia, 20 of Mission Hill. Both will be arraigned in the Roxbury District Court later today.

A police officer was also taken to a local hospital for evaluation. The incident remains under investigation.
