Donations for the New England Home for the Deaf
By Globe Staff
More than 60 seniors had to be evacuated from the New England Home for the Deaf after last week's massive industrial blast in Danvers.
The home, which is less than 200 yards from the blast site, needs two to three months of renovations before residents can return. That has forced the seniors to live out of boxes in a vacant nursing home nearby.
Read more about the resident's plight in today's Globe.
