By Globe Staff
Authorities on Cape Cod arrested 24 people this morning in a sweep that capped an investigation that included 91 undercover buys of heroin, cocaine, marijuana, morphine, and other drugs.
Officers also seized nine vehicles, 11 firearms, and more than $17,500 in cash during the probe, which lasted several months. Before today, investigators made 17 additional gun and drug arrests, according to a release from Falmouth police.
The raid was orchestrated by several law enforcement agencies, including Falmouth, Bourne, and Mashpee police; state police detectives; and the Barnstable Sheriff's Department.
