Six people where hospitalized with nausea today after an odor forced the evacuation of the South Shore Medical Center in Kingston, according to a spokesperson for the center.
The odor was detected around 8:30 a.m. and the fire department was called. Firefighters evacuated the building and are trying to determine the source of the smell.
Five employees from the center and one patient were transported to an area hospital with nausea.
