Lexington elects school board members, selectmen

Challenger Margaret Coppe unseated incumbent School Committee member Olga Guttag by 200 votes in Monday's annual town election in Lexington
Tom Diaz, school board chairman, was elected to a second term, and Selectwoman Jeanne Krieger won a fourth term.
George Burnell was elected to an open seat on the Board of Selectmen, defeating challenger Leo McSweeney by more than 860 votes.
Thirty percent of Lexington's 19,800 registered voters went to the polls Monday, when 63 Town Meeting members were also also were elected.
