Swansea police arrested a 31-year-old equestrian trainer this morning who is accused of four counts of statutory rape of a child and possession of child pornography.

Joseph Michael Silva, 31, is scheduled to be arraigned today in district courts in Fall River and Taunton on charges that also include posing a child in the nude, according to the Bristol County district attorney's office.

A spokeswoman for the district attorney declined to release more details. The alleged crimes were committed in Berkley and Swansea, where Silva lives.
