One dead in Marshfield townhouse blaze

A 53-year-old woman died in a fire that broke out at a townhouse complex in Marshfield early this morning.

Fire Chief Kevin Robinson says it's unclear how much damage was incurred during the blaze, which was reported at about 4:15 a.m. on Mariners Hill Drive.

The fire was knocked down at 5:10 a.m. and extinguished by 9:04 a.m.

The victim's identity is being withheld pending notification of her family.
