Woman killed in Taunton car crash

A 25-year-old woman was killed today in a two-car crash in Taunton, police said.

Jennifer M. Walker, who lived on Fremont Street in Taunton, was a passenger in a 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlas that collided with a 2006 Ford pickup truck at 1:11 a.m. on Dean Street, according to a Taunton police press release.

The driver of the Oldsmobile, Richard Gould, 31, of Taunton, was flown to Boston Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition, police said.

Edward Leonard, 34, of Taunton was driving the pickup. Police did not report that Leonard suffered any injuries.

The crash remains under investigation, police said.
