“Steroid Guru” pleads guilty to drug and gun indictments

A Canton man dubbed as a “steroid guru” within bodybuilding circles pleaded guilty today in Norfolk Superior Court in Dedham to 45 gun and drug indictments.

Bruce Kneller, 38, who had bragged to customers about shipping 15,000 orders for steroids without being caught, "admitted everything" by pleading guilty, Norfolk District Attorney William Keating said in a statement.

Superior Court Justice Judith Fabricant sentenced Kneller to a total of 2 years plus one day to serve.

When investigators, Canton Police and U.S. Postal Inspectors raided Kneller’s Canton apartment, they recovered what turned out to be more than 200,000 steroid capsules and other drugs worth more than $120,000.
