Hyde Park shooting victim dies

The 24-year-old man who was shot several times overnight in Hyde Park died from his injuries, according to a statement released by Boston Police this afternoon.
James G. Milord was shot near Westminster Street and Central Avenue at about 10 p.m., police said. Milord, of Hyde Park, was rushed to Brigham and Women's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police have not reported making any arrests in the case. People with information about the shooting are asked to call the homicide detectives at 617-343-4470.
