Jury deliberations are expected to continue Thursday in the murder trial of Jason Meeks, a 26-year-old accused of fatally shooting a man outside a Roxbury auto body shop in 2002.

The 12 jurors told Suffolk Superior Court Judge Raymond Brassard today that they were at an impasse and could not reach a decision after four days of deliberations. The judge ordered the jury to take a lunch break and continue their discussion. The jury went home this evening without reaching a verdict.

Meeks is accused of killing 25-year-old Alvaro Sanders.
