Man shot in Theater District

A bloody shirt was left in the middle of Stuart Street today after an early morning shooting.

Boston police are investigating a shooting early this morning in the Theater District.
A man was shot several times at the corner of Stuart and Tremont streets shortly after 5 a.m., police said. Spent bullet casings were left lying on both streets.
The man was rushed to Massachusetts General Hospital. The extent of the victim's injuries was not immediately available. Police did not release the man's name or age.
No arrests have been made.
