Record rowing attempt put off a day

Charlie Girard, the French mechanical engineer who plans to row across the Atlantic, postponed the start of his journey this morning because of high winds.

Girard plans to try again Saturday, leaving from Orleans and trying to beat the record of less than 63 days to make it to the French coast.
