By Javier C. Hernandez, Globe Correspondent
Police arrested a second man today in connection with a triple shooting Monday in Dudley that left two people dead.
Marc S. Letang, 19, turned himself in at the Webster police station shortly after midnight, said Sergeant William Keefe. He was charged with two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder. The Worcester resident is being held without bail pending his arraignment later today in Dudley District Court.
"He must have known he was wanted," Keefe said in a telephone interview. He declined to comment further on the case.
A man and a woman in their 30s were killed in the shooting early Monday inside a three-story apartment building on West Main Street. The Worcester district attorney's office today identified the two victims as Aaron Bash, 31, and Denise Johnston, 26.
A third victim, described as a woman in her 20s who has not been identified, was shot in the head and remains in the hospital.
After the shooting, police arrested Christian Muller, 26, and charged him with two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder. He was arraigned today in Dudley District Court and held without bail pending a psychiatric evaluation.
