SOMERVILLE -- Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found early this morning in a driveway on the 400 block of Broadway in Winter Hill.
The body was discovered at 5 a.m. between two apartment buildings, according to a press release from Somerville police.
"Right now it doesn’t look like it was a random incident," said Captain Paul Upton of the Somerville police.
Police did not release the name of the man, who was described only as white and middle-aged. Police said the man’s death was suspicious because of the condition of his body, but they did not provide specifics.
An autopsy has been scheduled. Police did not report making any arrests.
The office of Middlesex District Attorney Gerard T. Leone Jr. is also investigating. Anyone with information about the man’s death is asked to contact Somerville police detectives at 617-625-1600, ext. 7220.
