A 95-year-old man drove into a Malden store front today, but escaped with only a headache, authorities said.

The accident damaged the windows at the Rosebud Market, located at 333 Commercial St., as well as the concrete below the windows and the store's foyer.

"It all happened so fast," said store owner Charlie DeMarco.

According to Malden police Lieutenant Pontbriand, the driver, who was sitting on the street curb with his wife after the accident, said he did not know what happened and did not remember hitting the building. The police did not release the name of the driver or of his wife, who was not injured in the crash.

The store reopened after two hours. "It's a miracle no one got killed," DeMarco said.
