Police seek vehicle involved in fatal hit and run in Haverhill

State Police are asking the public for help identifying a vehicle involved in a fatal hit and run last month on Interstate 495 in Haverhill.

John R. Grant, 23, of Chelmsford, was killed died on June 29 when his car was struck by another vehicle that drove off. Grant’s passenger, Aja M. Mocherman, 19, of Chelmsford, also suffered serious injuries in the crash.

Investigators are looking for a white sport utility vehicle or pickup truck with white front bumper, according to a State Police press release. Blue paint may have been transferred to the vehicle in the crash.

State Police ask anyone with information about the crash call the Newbury barracks at (987) 462-7478.
