Two Boston men are facing a variety of charges after police allegedly found an AK-47 assault rifle in their car.

Police said a cruiser stopped Omaro Isaacs, 30, and Douglas Blackwood, 29, in the Mattapan neighborhood last night because their vehicle's driver's-side mirror was broken.

The officers allegedly found marijuana in the car, as well as an AK-47 concealed in the leg of a pair of jeans in the back seat.

Isaacs and Blackwood were each charged with possession of a sawed-off shotgun or machine gun, unlawful possession of ammunition, possession of a high-capacity magazine and possession of a Class D substance.

They will be arraigned Monday in Dorchester District Court.
