Boston Firefighters Union Local 718 has started a fund for the families of the two men killed Wednesday night while battling a blaze at a West Roxbury restaurant.

The fund has been established at the Boston Firefighters Credit Union to benefit the families of Paul J. Cahill, 55, of Scituate and Warren J. Payne, 53, of Canton.

"Last night's tragedy in West Roxbury has devastated the Boston Fire Family," said Edward Kelly, president of Local 718, at an afternoon press conference. "We are rallying around each other, right now our focus is to take care of and try to comfort the families of both Warren and Paul."

The address of the fund is:

West Roxbury Fire Fund

Boston Firefighters Credit Union
60 Hallet Street
Dorchester, MA 02124
617-288-2420

"Any donations will be greatly appreciated," Kelly said. "We thank you again for your thoughts and your prayers."
