Six Framingham teenagers who threw Molotov cocktails in the parking lot of the Sri Lakshmi Temple this summer in Ashland will be charged tomorrow, police said.

The explosives caused more than $12,000 in damage to lights on the property, according to police.

No damage was reported to the building, the only Hindu temple in the region. Officer David Muri said four of the teenagers are expected to turn themselves in at different points tomorrow, while the other two are being summonsed to court.

The teenagers will be charged with possession of a Molotov cocktail, malicious destruction of property over $250, causing an explosion, and conspiracy. Police are not treating the incident as a hate crime.
