Tax the non-profits?

How does the lawsuit filed by a Framingham nonprofit fit into the property tax debate?

One of the allegations is that Framingham tried to extract taxes from the nonprofit to gain leverage. Some town meeting members have complained that non profits depress property values in the town, and drain money from town coffers. That argument is not going to go away anytime soon.
