On Monday, US Senator David Vitter admitted that his phone number appeared in the files of the so-called "D.C. Madam," Deborah Jeane Palfrey. This would merely be a sad episode for his family, were it not for the Louisiana Republican's showboating as a family-values crusader and his exploitation of anti gay sentiment for his own political benefit.
