Exploitation of Sept. 11

HOW LOW can President Bush go? I find his use of imagery from Ground Zero and of a firefighter's funeral as a campaign ad appalling and extremely tasteless. Bush told the Associated Press in January 2003 that he would not use Sept. 11 as a political issue. He has broken this promise. He is now using this tragedy as an opening salvo in his campaign. This is an outrageous exploitation of the 9/11 tragedy. I can't wait to see what he says at the Republican Convention, timed, of course, to come just before the third anniversary of 9/11.

And Bush says he has no intention to use 9/11 as a political issue? Just how stupid does he think the American public is? This is politics at its worse.
