The Democrats' private party

CITIZENS OF the Commonwealth are being asked to telecommute during the Democratic National Convention. We are being asked to stay at home. We are being asked to go on vacation. We are being asked to come in early and go home early. We are told that we got through the Blizzard of '78, so this should not be an issue. The DNC is a private party that is not open to the citizens of the Commonwealth. We are being told to go away. Yes, this private party is taking over Boston and a big portion of the state, and Mayor Thomas Menino says it will be no big deal. Well it is a big deal.

What's the economic benefit of this private party? It will have the same benefit as the new convention center, and that will cost us millions to operate each year. There is an election in November. We need to let the politicians know whose state this is!
