Don't pick on Mallard. Why not drop Doonesbury?

I DON'T think dropping the "Mallard Fillmore" comic strip should even be considered. I certainly don't think replacing it with a more right-left politically correct comic is a service to the conservatives who love Mallard and the liberals who need to see another view. A pure conservative comic is much needed in the Globe.

Some of the "Doonesbury" story lines have been in poor taste.

Why not drop "Doonesbury"?

Some would argue "Doonesbury" has certainly lost its relevance.

Keep "the Duck" afloat!
