Sci-fi guy: 'Fie!'

I'M AMAZED by the stories about local science fiction conventions in the Globe (''Get your geek on," ''Fans are gearing up for the 'con,' " Living/Arts, Feb. 14). Kudos for trying, but leaving out any mention of the area's most successful convention, Arisia, is like reporting on political parties in Washington and failing to mention the Republicans. Or Democrats, if you prefer. This makes me wonder what else is being left out of stories on subjects that I don't have any personal experience with.
