Mideast logic

REGARDING MAEN Areikat's baffling phrase, ``the logic of violence," in the Aug. 2 op-ed "Forced peace vs. just peace": If there is any logic to the ongoing tragedy in the Middle East it is this: If the militant wings of radical Islam would lay down their arms, there would be peace. If the Israeli forces lay down their arms, they would be annihilated.
