STEPHEN H. BURRINGTON, commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, argues in his Oct. 3 op-ed that spending on state parks is just about at the right level. If that is true, which it certainly isn't, we volunteers at the parks level hardly see a trickle-down of resources for landscape maintenance. (Full article: 192 words)
