What we owe our troops in Iraq

I MUST make a comment about David Jarvis's Dec. 17 letter "No choice but to press on in Iraq." He did not mention whether he had a relative serving with the military in Iraq. If he did, he might have had a different opinion. I have a daughter and son-in-law who did tours of duty with the Army in Iraq, and thank God, they returned to us safe and sound. The very idea of sending more troops into this senseless war is unconscionable. We honor our servicemen and women who have given their lives by not sending any more over there possibly to be maimed or killed. This fiasco needs to stop now.
