Susie Kurtz, Lauren O'Neal, and Regina Johnson of New York City shared an umbrella as they were caught in a fast-moving storm Wednesday at City Hall Plaza. Branches, power lines, and hail fell in many communities across the state during the storm, which caused a tornado watch to be issued for cities and towns west of Boston. No tornado activity was reported, but larger branches and trees were toppled in Sutton and Mansfield, and power lines were knocked down in communities including Whitman and Lexington, according to the National Weather Service.   Weather forecast
