William Mabil and Aduei Riak, two of Sudan's 54 lost children, joked at a gathering as Samuel Machour of Medford and Susan Winship of the Sudanese Education Fund talked. When the children arrived in Boston, they carried little with them. Now they have all grown up. All 54 have completed high school, and all 54 have gone on to some form of higher education.
