A new fallen 'Idol'

As the "American Idol" competition intensifies, the lesser talents are falling by the wayside. Last night's casualty was Rockin' Jon, also known as JPL, also known as Jon Peter Lewis, who said farewell with a bittersweet smile. The 24-year-old had worked enthusiastically to shed his pen-salesman image, but his vocal chops remained primitive next to those of the three singers to beat: Fantasia Barrino, La Toya London, and George Huff. Lewis's companions in the bottom three were John Stevens and Diana DeGarmo.
