Robert Brustein was soaking up some early spring sunshine when he answered his cellphone in New York's Central Park this week. The American Repertory Theatre founding artistic director said he was thoroughly enjoying himself as he sat just blocks away from West End Avenue, Brustein's childhood home and the setting for his fifth play.
