Festival kicks off in Somerville's Davis Square; Dirty Dozen Brass Band does the Rock and Blues Concert Cruise; Big Sandy & His Fly Rite Boys play at T.T. the Bear's Place with Carlevale & the Broken Rhythm Boys and the Stumbleweeds; Cheryl Wheeler and Mia Dyson perform at Club Passim. The Regattabar has flamenco guitarist Juanito Pascual tonight, Kendrick Oliver & the New Life Jazz Orchestra tomorrow, and the genre-blurring vocalist Ledisi on Thursday. Another singer, Samantha Sidley, performs at noon Thursday in Kendall Square as part of a free weekly summer concert series . Ryles has Teresa Ines tomorrow, Andreea Pauta on Tuesday, and vibraphonist Rich Greenblatt on Thursday. Saxophonist Jim Hobbs teams up with trombonist Jeff Galindo at Brookline Tai Chi tonight.
