Band of Horses is off and running on indie scene
A couple of years ago, when a small, long-running Seattle band called Carissa's Wierd finally called it quits, two members, Mat Brooke and Ben Bridwell , agreed to soldier on under a different name. They dubbed themselves Band of Horses, and played from a catalog of rheumy, reverb-heavy songs that Bridwell had composed. (Full article: 678 words)
