A few weeks ago I received a copy of "A Religious Orgy in Tennessee," a collection of journalist H.L. Mencken's famous dispatches from the Scopes "monkey" trial. I took the book on the subway to a luncheon appointment and opened it at random. Of course, I burst out laughing. (Full article: 782 words)
