Their TV judge thinks they can dance, too

Lionel Richie wanted us to dance on the ceiling. C+C Music Factory commanded: ``Everybody dance now." Fall Out Boy simply implored us to ``Dance, Dance." Whether it's the merengue or the macarena, we've all turned into dancing fools.

Coming on the heels of ``Dancing With the Stars," ``So You Think You Can Dance" premiered in the summer of 2005 with a sassy title, promising the drama of ``American Idol " coupled with the talent of ``Project Runway." Wrapping up it s second season over the summer, the show accomplished what most summer programs never do -- it delivered on the hype.

A la ``Idol," season 2's top 10 dancers are on tour, stopping by the Wang Theatre tomorrow . Judge and choreographer Brian Friedman -- who has worked with Mya, Britney Spears, Usher, and Hilary Duff -- knows the dancers well and isn't afraid to dish on the finalists.

ALLISON HOLKER

Friedman says: ``Allison is amazing. She is and was one of my favorite contestants on this season. . . . In my eyes she is the cream of the crop in that cast."

DONYELLE JONES

Friedman says: ``She's got so much presence on that stage -- every time she steps on stage she wakes the audience up and the audience goes crazy. . . . She's definitely the crowd pleaser. You have to keep an eye out for her solo."

Friedman says: `` After seeing her grow, she, I believe, has made the most progress as a female on that show."

NATALIE FOTOPOULOS
