Abe's story on hold for Indiana Jones
Liam Neeson has signed on to star as Abraham Lincoln and Steven Spielberg is set to direct from a script being written by Pulitzer-winning playwright Tony Kushner. But the big-screen adaptation of historian Doris Kearns Goodwin's "Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln" will have to wait on the sidelines until Indiana Jones gets out of the way. When Spielberg announced he was going to direct Harrison Ford in the fourth installment of the "Indiana Jones" franchise, it meant the "Lincoln" feature needed to be put on hold. It's not just due to Spielberg's overloaded schedule. The three-time Oscar-winner has tapped cinematographer Janusz Kaminski and composer and former Boston Pops maestro John Williams for both projects. It appears that Kushner will put the extra time to good use. In town recently to be honored by the American Repertory Theatre, Kushner said he accepted the invitation to come to Boston because the date was after his original deadline. "But I'm not done," Kushner said while in town. "I should be done with this draft, but I am not."
West may be best for Brady baby
If Tom Brady wants to see his baby, the Pats QB may need to request a trade. That's because Bridget Moynahan, who's five months pregnant with Brady's baby, told Martha Stewart she'll probably give birth on the West Coast. "I think it may be an LA baby, but I'm not sure," said the bicoastal actress, who's been shooting her ABC series "Six Degrees " in the Big Apple. "We haven't figured that out." The pronoun -- "we" -- was as close as Moynahan came to talking about Brady. The actress also chatted about her "Six Degrees" character, who was betrayed by her boyfriend. "[He] was cheating on me. It happens all the time . . . on TV," she said. "And I kneed him in the private parts."JT gets his game on in Boston
Justin Timberlake brought his sexy self back to Boston before performing last night in New Hampshire. Timblerlake and two bodyguards bopped into Game On! Sunday to catch the Georgetown/North Carolina game with a few buddies, including Tom Brady's right-hand man Will McDonough. (There was no sign of No. 12 himself.) The group ate nachos and wings, and polished off a few pitchers of PBR -- only the best for JT -- before heading to Saint. There, in a roped-off corner, Timberlake got cozy with one of his comely backup dancers. (To his credit, Justin stopped dancing and sat down when his stagnant "SexyBack" came on.) Around 12:30 a.m., the scruffy boy-bander donned his black hoodie, climbed into a waiting SUV, and was driven away.Spacey, Bosworth hit the hot spots
Saint's also proving popular with Kevin Spacey, who is in town shooting the untitled movie based on Ben Mezrich's book "Bringing Down the House." The other night, the two-time Oscar winner was wearing an oversize beret when he wandered in with a group of guys. Meanwhile, Kate Bosworth, Spacey's costar in the film, had lunch with her parents yesterday at Sonsie. The attenuated actress, who hails from Cohasset, had a mozzarella pizza and a Diet Pepsi.Danny Aiello, who filmed "Stiffs" in Boston last year, helped out the Provincetown Tennessee Williams Festival at a New York City fund-raiser Sunday night. Aiello said he's a huge fan of Williams and chose to read "The Timeless World of a Play," the introduction to Williams's play "The Rose Tattoo," as part of the evening's events.
