A triple bill, featuring Jerry Bergonzi , Daniel Bennett Group , and Quartet of Happiness , is at the Cambridge Family YMCA Theatre. The avant-groove music of Club d'Elf is at Brookline Tai Chi. Tonight and tomorrow night: Piano great Ahmad Jamal is at the Regattabar. Tomorrow: Pat Metheny and Brad Mehldau at the Opera House. Latin piano powerhouse Eddie Palmieri and trumpeter Brian Lynch join the Harvard Jazz Band at Sanders Theatre. Tuesday: Guitarist John Abercrombie brings his intriguing quartet, featuring violinist Mark Feldman , bassist Marc Johnson , and drummer Joey Baron, to the Regattabar. Wednesday and Thursday: Neo-hipster vocalist Kurt Elling for two nights at Scullers.
