Tonight: Pianist Al Vega celebrates his 86th birthday with his sextet and singers Steve Marvin and Valerie Giglio at Ron Della Chiesa's Strictly Sinatra/Music America Dance Party at the Venezia Waterfront Banquet Facility. Tonight and tomorrow night: Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops are joined by diva Dianne Reeves for the second annual "JazzFest," with Brookline's own saxophone/vocal wunderkind Grace Kelly opening, at Symphony Hall. Grand dame vocalist Carol Sloane celebrates the release of her CD "Dearest Duke" at Scullers. Tomorrow night: Legendary R&B singer Howard Tate appears for an evening of "acoustic soul," with acclaimed jazz players Bob Moses on drums, Ratzo Harris on bass, and pianist Steve Weisberg, at the National Heritage Museum in Lexington. Tuesday: Bass/vocal phenom Esperanza Spalding is at Scullers. Wednesday: 3play+ returns to the Lily Pad, with trumpeter Phil Grenadier, pianist Josh Rosen, bassist Lello Molinari, and drummer Marcello Pellitteri.
