Jackson on British TV

Michael Jackson will make a return to the airwaves as a mentor on the British TV show "The X Factor," London's Sun newspaper reported yesterday. Jackson (inset) will serve as one of the pseudo-judges who offer advice to contestants on the musical reality TV show that will air Dec. 1. Other mentors have included Simon Cowell and Sharon Osbourne. The King of Pop hasn't spent much time on TV since an interview with Martin Bashire that's believed to have led to allegations he molested a boy. Jackson hasn't been in the public eye much after his 2005 acquittal on those charges. (THE SUN)

Britney, mom meet
Days after losing custody of her two kids, Britney Spears found some solace by reuniting with estranged mom Lynne Spears. "Brit really needed her mom," a source told People. "So Lynne flew out, and they met." Spears will be needing all the support she can get. Documents released Thursday regarding her heated custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline revealed stricter measures, particularly placed on her. With regard to her supervised visitation rights with her two sons, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, the document says: "The monitor shall terminate visitation immediately if any conduct or action by [Spears] endangers the minor children." Before their next hearing Oct. 26, she must complete three joint counseling sessions with Federline, three individual sessions, and twice-weekly random testing for drugs and alcohol. Lynne and Jamie Lynn, Britney's younger sister, flew from Kentwood, La., to Los Angeles Friday evening. (PEOPLE)

Anderson reties knot
Pamela Anderson and Rick Salomon married Saturday evening between the former "Baywatch" star's performances on the Las Vegas Strip, according to published reports. Anderson (inset), 40, wore a white denim Valentino dress, according to a report on People magazine's website. The vows were squeezed in between the 7 and 10 p.m. shows of "Hans Klok's The Beauty of Magic" at Planet Hollywood resort, casino spokeswoman Amy Sadowsky said. Anderson stars as a magician's assistant. "Hello, I just got married . . . I did," she said after performing the second show of the night. Salomon, 38, is best known for making a sex videotape with Paris Hilton, his girlfriend at the time, and was previously married to actress Shannen Doherty. Anderson was previously married to singer Kid Rock and Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee. . . . Talk show host Montel Williams, 51 wed Tara Fowler, 36, Saturday in Bermuda, according to People magazine's website. The couple's poodle, Mr. Max, was the ring bearer. It's the first wedding for Fowler, a former flight attendant. Williams has been married three times, and has two children from each marriage. (AP)

Lil Wayne busted
Hip-hop star Lil Wayne, 25, was arrested in Boise, Idaho, Friday on a felony fugitive charge after authorities in Georgia accused him of possessing a controlled substance. (AP).
