Boston Tea Party

October 7th

The Boston chapter of LUPEC - a.k.a. Ladies United for the Preservation of Endangered Cocktails - and its president, Misty Kalkofen (left), take over the Louisiana Riverboat at Lewis Wharf Sunday for their very own Boston Tea Party. Not quite sure where tea comes into it, as the riverboat becomes a Prohibition-era speakeasy featuring of course, vintage cocktails. Live music comes courtesy of local blues and jazz siren Miss Tess and delicious nibbles from chefs Jamie Bissonette (KO Prime), Patrick Connolly (Radius), and Andres Grundy (Clio). Proceeds benefit Jane Doe Inc. Vintage dress and creative cocktail attire encouraged. Tickets: $50 (available in advance from Green Street, 280 Green St., Cambridge, or Toro, 1704 Washington St., Boston). 7 p.m. Louisiana Riverboat at Lewis Wharf, Boston. lupecboston.blogspot.com
