boston.com News your connection to The Boston Globe
Note to our readers

The Globe today launches Sidekick, a new section that is your guide to a better day.

Sidekick, appearing Monday through Saturday, offers tips on entertainment, shopping, dining, and all sorts of refreshing breaks from your daily routine. In Sidekick you will also get an enhanced critic’s guide to what’s on television, accompanied by expanded primetime TV listings.

Sidekick is also the place to find comics and puzzles – and there will be more of them. We’re adding two new comic strips. One of them, Prickly City, we selected on our own. But you can help choose the second comic strip.

The latest puzzle craze, Sudoku, also makes its debut in Sidekick today. And tomorrow, we introduce the first of two popular poker columns. The second will be published every Friday.

Check out the two pages in the middle of Sidekick for a novel collaboration between Boston.com and the Globe, and see how you can get your photos and your comments into Sidekick.

Plus, in a new column called “At Your Service” you can ask Globe staffers for their expert advice on everything from food to travel to entertainment.

AND THERE'S MORE....
See Living/Arts for our expanded coverage of celebrities and pop culture. A new feature called Pop! offers a fresh angle on the celebrity scene.

ALSO:
Starting today, Health/Science will be published on Monday instead of Tuesday.
