Prints from turn-of-the-last-century negatives capture antique America.

When she bought her first glass negatives at auction 22 years ago, Elizabeth Budington was collecting for her own enjoyment. A furniture restorer by trade, she has bought more over the years and is now selling limited-edition prints she creates with a scanner, computer, and printer. There are landscapes as well as personal histories, such as one of a couple doing dishes at a soapstone sink, or special events, like World War I pilots arriving in New York Harbor. Prices range from $25 to $150, depending on the size and frame.

Available by appointment and (weather permitting) at the South End Open Market today and next Sunday.
