The schedule at Umana/Barnes Middle School in East Boston can accommodate more core subjects and enrichment activities, now that it stretches
until 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays. On Fridays, students get out at 11:40 a.m., and the staff stays until 1:40 p.m.
