Women aren't supposed to be alone with men other than family members, so why was she here with me? ''Most people assume if you're a woman and Muslim, you are living in some horrendous situation where a man controls you,'' says Suad Maow, a student at Pine Manor College in Chestnut Hill. ''That's not the truth. If I still lived in Somalia, I would have finished high school. I would have some job, but I would probably already have a family and maybe a kid or two, being 21. The people that did September 11, I don't think they're right. It's not your place to judge or to take someone's life. That's God's place. If you think you're doing this in the name of Allah, I'm sorry, that's a sin, and you're going to hell for it. Muslim countries see America as a giant trying to put its nose in everyone's business.
