WHO WOULD GUESS? From the outside, the handsomely renovated triple-decker gives no hint that it was built to the low-impact, high energy-saving standards that won it certification from the US Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program. The building is sided with Hardiplank, a durable low-maintenance product made by the James Hardie company using fiber cement.
