An example of how a climber's surroundings play a major factor in Luckey's designs. The site here is a long, narrow building, so Luckey emphasized length, not height, and designed the structure to run about 50 feet horizontally. Kids can enter at both ends. "It wanders all over the place," he says. The climber, which was the last structure he worked on before his accident, also rises up through a manmade tree in the middle of the room. Because of the painting and degree of detailing involved, Luckey says that this was, in many ways, "the most finished one I've ever done."
